The patrol boat will be used in the implementation of the Sustainable Fishery Management Program (SFM) and the existing Unified Fishery Ordinance (UFO) of Lake Mainit. The said patrol boat is a grant project from Philippine-Australia Community Assistance Program (PACAP) through the effort of the LMDA-PCO. Although the PACAP contract was already ended last year however, this is the continued commitment of PACAP and LMDA in support to lakeshore municipalities for the tough enforcement of the Unified Fishery Ordinance in the protection of Lake Mainit.
