Expansion of membership is done as part of the eight months PACAP project extension for LMDA which is “Strengthening the Lake Mainit Development Alliance through policy Support and Sustained Collaborative Mechanisms”. The municipal action officers from eight municipalities are the additional members of the Lake Mainit FMC.

Engr. Kaiser B. Recabo, Jr, the LMDA Director and the Chairperson of the said Committee explained that the expanded FMC is formed not only for the PACAP project extension but it is also a part of the sustainable mechanism for ensuring the representation of CSO to the LMDA structure. He said that the expanded FMC organizational structure is considered as the transition period for the FMC and CSO inclusion to the LMDA TWG by next year after the PACAP project extension which will end by June 2010.
